The National Health Card (NHC) is a micro-health insurance initiative that currently covers healthcare programs for citizens of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Baluchistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, Islamabad, and Tharparkar (Sindh) Asia. Under the Government of Pakistan program, millions of low-income families are receiving immediate and free inpatient health care without any financial responsibility.
Having a health card allows you to avail of health services in many public and private hospitals in the designated area. You can access these services and receive treatment and care in the event of an accident or medical emergency and for diseases such as diabetes, kidney disease, hepatitis B and C and all types of cancer. In addition, Health Cardholders can get free Covid-19 treatment.
Who is eligible for Health Sehat Card?
Currently, according to a survey conducted under the Ehsas Kafalat / Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), all Pakistani citizens earning less than 2 / day can enter the program and get free medical services.

According to NADRA records about the sehat card, all permanent residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (including residents of former FATA merged districts), Punjab, Islamabad, and Azad Jammu, and Kashmir (AJK), regardless of their income, will be included in the program.
January 2022 Update - Health Card Eligibility in Punjab: At present 7 population Sahiwal and DG. The Khan and Lahore divisions are included in the program, while the other 29 districts have poor people (earning less than .5 32.5 PMT per day according to the BISP survey), people with disabilities, and registered transgender communities. NADRA is eligible.
The Punjab Government plans to include all Punjab citizens in this program by March 31, 2022.

ہیلتھ کارڈ کے لیے کون اہل ہے؟
